How you photograph your property is extremely important. People that use the internet to make
their purchasing (and renting) decisions are extremely tuned into picture content and quality. Do
yourself and your potential new tenants a favor and show your property at it's best.
Some tips:
- Use a good digital camera. A cell phone camera will work, but the resolution may be poor.
- Make sure that your unit is empty, clean and in good repair when you photograph it.
- Try to shoot the exterior on a sunny day. Interior shots are best in medium light with interior
lights turned on.
- Photograph all rooms, but at a minimum living room, dining room, kitchen, bedrooms (each
one that is different), bathrooms, closets and any special features of your property.
- Photograph a an exterior shot of the front so when they drive by to see your property, it will
look familiar. Pictures of the yard or any nice exterior features show your property at its
best.
- Take one shot of whatever is the very best feature of your property.
